This one is going to be family orientated as mine are heading overseas to visit family. For the kids its Channel 5′s Milkshake which recently had a much needed make-over. If the site doesn’t impress you, the beautiful girls who present it will! Every Japanese kids hero, Anpanman has a site strangely very similar to Milkshake in terms of flash games. Anpanman might be a half-arsed hero who dies when he gets his face wet, but the site is nicely laid out and usability is good for parents and kids.
Lastly its the Japanese version of Facebook, Mixi. Popular with both Japanese and Gaijin’s (foreigners living in Japan) alike, Google has just implemented a “find your friends through your Gmail address book” typed widget.
